These terms govern your use of US ZIP Code Map at uszipcodemap.com (the “site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The service

The site shows ZIP code maps, lookup pages, and related statistics compiled from commercial ZIP files, U.S. Census Bureau ZCTA and place geometry, ACS and IRS figures where we have them, and live map tiles. It is a reference tool, not an official USPS, Census, IRS, or government product. ZCTA polygons are census tabulation areas, not carrier routes or delivery boundaries.

Figures can be blank, delayed, or wrong. Confirm anything that matters with primary sources.

No professional advice

Map locations, income, population, and home-value numbers are estimates for general information. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for lending, insurance, mailing, compliance, or legal decisions. Confirm anything that matters with primary sources.

Acceptable use

You may browse, link to, and cite pages in the ordinary way. You may not:

• scrape, bulk-download, or republish the commercial ZIP dataset
• overload the maps, Census proxy, or forms
• submit malware, spam, or others’ personal information through the contact form
• misrepresent the site as USPS
• circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security

Intellectual property

The US ZIP Code Map name, logo, layout, and original writing are ours or used under license. Census TIGER/ZCTA geometry is subject to Census terms. Google Maps content is subject to Google’s terms. The underlying commercial ZIP extract is licensed to us; we do not grant you a right to copy or redistribute that extract.

Maps and third-party services

Maps may fail if a Google Maps API key is missing, referrer-restricted, or over quota. Analytics, Tag Manager, advertising, and hosting are provided by third parties under their own terms, including Google and Netlify.

Advertising

The site displays advertising. Ads may be personalized using cookies and similar technologies as described in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for advertiser sites you visit from an ad.

Contact form

If you send a message, you grant us permission to read it and to reply by email. Do not submit content that is unlawful or that you do not have the right to send. See the Privacy Policy for how form data is stored.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that maps, statistics, or search results are complete, current, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, US ZIP Code Map and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or from advertising, analytics, or map outages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to fifty U.S. dollars (US $50).

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the site, your contact-form submissions, or your violation of these terms.

Changes and termination

We may change or discontinue the site, these terms, or any feature at any time. The “Last updated” date will change when we revise the terms. Continued use after a change is acceptance. We may block access for abuse.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where a mandatory local law says otherwise. Courts in a venue we reasonably designate may hear disputes that cannot be resolved informally.
